Please see below instruction on how to program your new NFC pet tag.

* Important: Once you have written your NFC Pet Tag, please don’t forget to Password protect your device! Instructions are at the end of the guide.

Navigate to the “Write” page, and select “Add a record”.

Here you can select many options. In this example we will prepare either a phone call, or text message.

Enter the phone number you wish to be called when scanning the tag

OR

Enter the phone number you wish to receive a text, and compose a message

Once saved, select “Write” on to add your instruction to the device.

Place your new NFC Pet Tag on your NFC reader on your phone. Android is on the back, iPhone is on the top.

Once scanned, your tag has been set up!

First you will need to download an NFC programming app. NFC Tools is highly recommended.

Additional Information:

There are many options available in the NFC Tools app for you to experiment with.

You can add google maps locations, but please note that some apple devices may not read the tag as they use Apple Maps.

Additionally, shortened google maps links (i.e. “g.co/”) may also not work on iOS devices.

Remember when coding your device that you want to set it up so that it is useable by anyone who finds your pet. So we recommend the Phone and Text options.

Lastly, do not forget to password protect your device after writing it!

Select “Other” > Set Password > enter your password > hold your tag to the back of your phone.
